It's actually a painting I did back in college. So ty, I shall take that as a huge compliment that you thought it was a poster! :D

Holy shit, that's a painting?! I had no clue. You should seriously consider finding work in some place like South Korea or Japan or wherever traditional animation is still around.

Really, Jillian? All these years I've been watching it in the videos and I never, ever thought it was a painting. I'm awed.

Is there any way you guys could get Zach Lavoy to do a cameo as one of Caroline's child-star clients? I think it would be a cute in-joke (unless he is sore about the subject .....then I didn't say a word ;)
Plus, will Irving be getting in on this madness? He deserves a little more insanity too, heh.

Irving will have a big story arch in Season 2.

Speaking of child movie stars, Brad knows people who knows people who know Mara Wilson, and she'd be awesome in a cameo as a former client of Caroline's.

Going by this episode, Irving must be a writer for the Rickhead's show.

So, that cameo you did for Kyle, (the one he friended you about, then when you did it, unfriended you) apparently it was deleted from the video. Any chance of that getting spoofed on an upcoming Reviewers?

I wonder how Brad knows he's not in the video when this has only been the first part of a three-parter.
Also, I'm pretty sure Brad has made it clear enough in the past that he doesn't want to fuel any kind of feud between him and Kyle.

Erm, given that Brad was there when it was shot, it's not that hard to imagine that he knows what part he was in. And since the Andy character is pretty clearly inspired in some small way by Kyle, it's not that hard to fathom that something like this could get parodied.

grmpf
9/11/2014 08:40:25 am

"Erm,"
Please don't do that.
"given that Brad was there when it was shot"
Oh my, and here I was thinking he wasn't present when his own cameo was shot. I must be so stupid.
"it's not that hard to imagine that he knows what part he was in."
Yes, it could be very obvious, for example if he knows for sure a point in a song where he was supposed to appear. Or it could be something that could've been anywhere.

I had kind of forgotten that there is usual quite a timespan between the event and whenever it gets parodied on this show. What I meant is that he probably wouldn't throw it into an episode while it's still recent. Furthermore, it would be the first time he also references the relationship between him and Kyle, which is something I'm just not sure he wants to do. I could be wrong about that, obviously. Anyway, chances are the more this gets discussed the less likely a reference in the show becomes because then it'd just be too obvious.

grmpf
9/11/2014 08:42:43 am

Okay, Brad's comment wasn't there yet when I hit the reply button. Ignore all of the above.
Except for not starting your comment with stuff like "uh", "uhm", or "erm". That's really annoying.

9/11/2014 12:55:37 pm

Okay, can we start it with okay?

grmpf
9/14/2014 08:26:42 am

Okay.

Brad
9/11/2014 08:26:44 am

It's really not that big of a deal, I know he doesn't like me very much, so I wasn't really expecting to be in it. I was originally in the "it sucks!" montage holding up a DVD of Paranoia.

If the shoe were on the other foot, I probably wouldn't include a cameo of someone I don't like either. Then again, I probably wouldn't have asked them in the first place lol. I spoof a lot of things in The Reviewers, but I don't know if I'd spoof this. Only if I can come up with a funny idea for it, because I wouldn't want it to come across as petty. Just some good ribbing.

Brad - I'm curious to who you will play next.

Julian - You were pretty funny in some scenes.

Dave - Don't think we didn't see holding in that laugh at the end.

Jake - Why is your hair so wet?

Sarah - How did you find Julian's place?

Scott the Narrator - You have some pretty funny moments too.

Brian - Deja vu?

I'm curious who I'll play next too =) This is probably my favorite role of Jillians. You should have been there during the filming of The Rickhead scene, it was the most that we lost our shit ever filming Rickhead stuff. I'll put them in the blooper reel. Scott's bloopers are also fantastic too!

Jake's hair got wet because it was storming most of the day. We kind of had to work around some downpours. In fact, in between the part where Jillian left the park, then came back, we had to take about 15 minutes and get under an umbrella because it started raining again.

Since it's supposed to be a few days after Caroline threatened Andy, I just figured that Michelle probably simply asked Jeff where Caroline lived.

This is probably Jillian's best acting I've seen for this site man. She nailed the performance, all dialog seemed natural and organic, no stilted blocking. Everything she did was perfect. Kudos to her.

Yeah, the scene where Jake stands up behind Jillian from the park bench wearing the pigeon mask his shoulders were wet, not just his hair.

I like how Caroline has been tied into everything since the beginning. Also how we can "sympathize" with her a little more after hearing her drug-fueled past.

I can't wait for the next episode!

I like to turn to substance abuse when my cable goes out, or in other words fuck you Comcast, I don't think Blip is the problem for most of your viewers Brad, I think ISPs like Comcast are fucking with them because my internet is dropping out randomly and it's effecting the Blip player like crazy. Also like I said before the Rickhead needs his own spinoff show.

I dont think the Rickhead should get a spinoff. I think he should just get a short episode of The Reviewers dedicated to him like Caroline did in this episode. I think it would be poignant if the whole episode is of him in the Rickhead character, acting like a prick on his show, at conventions, in interviews etc. But have the last shot be him turning off the camera and walking out of his shooting space into another room of the house where his kids are, and he sits down and starts playing with them and acting like a normal, loving family man, revealing that he's the complete opposite of his online personal in real life.
