Personally I'd be all for an 80s Dan movie. They take long enough to make, and some of them could have been features of their own already. haha.

80s Dan: The Movie would make me cry tears of joy, especially if it's a "very special episode" and it gets dark as fuck halfway through.
I would actually fund a Kickstarter to make it a higher-than-usual-budget affair. You should get geeky internet new wave bands like Slugbug and Lemon Demon on the soundtrack. Do screenings.

You mean to say there hasn't been any new episodes of 'The Big Box?'

Great episode! I sincerely thought this was going in the direction of Michelle starting her own web show on books, finding out most youtube viewers are immature, perverted 12 year old, and some sort of enraged revenge ensues.

But yes. Love it! Murder Trial Critic needs to be a thing.

Michelle at the end was legitimately terrifying.

I really love the cameos - I can't tell whether Linkara's or Rob's is my current favourite, but I'm looking forward to the Twilight Critic who reviews things as a bored Volturi passing the time by reviewing Kinect dance games. :p

I liked Michelle in this episode, I like the direction this character is going. Sarah's acting seemed a little bit more uneven than usual, but I'm sure there are reasons for that. Also, she still made the important scenes work.

Andy gets shat on a little too much by the other characters imho, or actually, maybe Jeff doesn't get enough shit to even it out. Yeah, it's probably the latter. :D

I will not comment on specifics of "oh my god, why did THAT shot HAVE to be shaky-handheld?!" because Brad will never change any of that anyway.

I'm convinced Brad is just portraying triplets. One is a former child actor, one is a drug dealer, and the other works at the local BBQ joint. Either that, or the guy is living a triple life.

What if he is a former child actor working at a BBQ joint in order to pay for his drugs?

Or perhaps he is that child star Brad met in the elevator with the Taco Bell and the hooker.

So, is Jake an Irish Jew? Cause he sets off my Jewdar, but the T-shirt seems to imply he's Irish, which, given his reputation, kind of makes sense.

Also, I'd like to re-iterate that I, and I'm sure a number of other fans, would like to see Sarah follow Jillian's example, and show her tits in the next movie.

Yes, I'm a total pig, but at least I'm open about it.

I love the Murdertrial Critic. Some people posting in the comments may remember that Ray Stevens' Comedy Classics video that used to be advertised non-stop on TV 20 years ago. That Kentucky Colonel guy Ray Stevens does in one of those videos does that same Foghorn Leghorn / Yosemite Sam bit and fires a .44 into the ceiling.

This is one of those moments where I feel simultaneously a little left out and happy that I don't know the behind the scenes drama of all this That Guy With The Glasses stuff. Because quite honestly I see the Kyle Kallgren stuff all the time and I never have any clue what it's referring to. Maybe it's just better that way.

Same here, part of me really wants to know what the Anti-Kyle stuff is about on here, part of me wants to live in oblivious happy land because producer drama is kinda just depressing and sad and part of me doesn't care either way because I only see Kyle in crossovers I don't watch him enough to really care...

SsnakeBite
7/19/2014 05:00:18 am

Yeah, I really don't get it, especially since Andy's gimmick seems to be that he's full of himself whereas Kyle seems to be the exact opposite of that.

My best guess is that either he panned something that they liked and they got butthurt or they're just assuming that someone who talks about arthouse stuff MUST be pretentious.

I liked this new episode a lot! Andy just gets more and more insufferable with each episode with his arrogance and douchery and the way he condescends to Jeff and Michelle (which he should be kissing Jeff's ass honestly if it wasn't for his loyalty he'd be living in a box on the side of the road and using blowjobs to pay for camera time) which is great acting on Brian's part that I hate Andy so much because I find Brian so endearing! (Y'know besides the whole dirty slaving sonofabitch part... heh, who am I kidding I love that part the most.)

Speaking of great acting: SARAH!!! I love it when you get to flex those acting chops you are so great! And the end, girl you've got the prettiest crazy eyes I've ever seen (terrified and awe-struck all at once)

I stilllll love Jake! (Not much to say really, I love Jake everything about him and that basically transfers directly onto every character he plays) Jeff is awesome and I love the relationship he has with Michelle, even though they broke up they're still friends and it's adorable (well friendly at least, probably helps that at least with all his endearing stupidity he's at least contributing something and is less annoying and full of himself...) Also I have to wonder what he's got going on with Caroline, hope that's further touched on because wow, seems like it's a bit different than last episode.

Oh! And-- *insert comment about Dave and Rob Walker stealing the show here*

So now new reviewers have to start accounts on Dailymotion...where the cool kids are going...OK, not really, but you can infringe copyright all you want and not get the hassles YouTubers are getting...
