Kommissar rex is feeling left out.
Someone claiming to be you was doing a Q&A on 4chan's /tv/ (television & film) board. Was it really you?
Ha! No, it wasn't me.
I thought so. Much appreciated, Amigo.
So were they faking all the status changes on the CA Chat?
Why haven't you returned my calls Brad
Well thats a shame, impersonating trolls aside, /tv/ thinks you're fucking awesome.
BasedBrad t-shirts, when?
I am totally down for Based Brad tshirts.
At least, the impersonator wasn't too offensive or stupid.
Anyway, free publicity, YAY
Chuck Norris and a dog stop terrorist from blowing something up? Sold!!!!
Hey, Brad, it might just be me, but there is no sound around 7:45. Great video, though.
Working on fixing that now.
Am I the only one who had the audio cut off at 7:43?
Not even this movie deserves A CHUCK-A NORRIS!!!
At 7:44 it seems like the sound cuts out. May just be me.
New Snob video? Check. John Wick sequel announced? Check. The Identical coming to Netflix later this month? Check. 12:16 AM can't get much better than this.
A new 'John Wick' movie? Sweet! Now you just made MY day....
Just..... just tell me someone doesn't whack his NEW dog....
(You don't fuck with Liam Neeson's family and you don't fuck with John Wick's dog.)
Must be time for me to bitch again. . .
I enjoyed JW as much as the next person with eyes, but wasn't his story concluded? Gangstas kill his adorable pup, he kills them. Story over. Why does HE get a sequel but Dredd won't. Damn it, there's sooooooooooooooo much you could do with the property & so many more asses for Karl Urban to kick!
Wow, how rude of Brad to interrupt the Snob like that. Who does he think he is?
chuck norris movies are fun, even the really stupid ones where he looks bored and wishes he was training with bruce lee after winning world championships again.
I wonder if the "M. Emmet Walsh" rule that Roger Ebert has a corollary with Clyde Kusatsu. "Wired", "Top Dog"... eh, maybe not.
Oh hi Brad. Are you going to the live Rifftrax of The Room? I just got back from it and it was a blast.
Yeah, the Rifftrax was so much fun. Great time all around to cap off what has started off as a bad day.
Why do the White Nationalists hold their group meetings in what looks like an industrial warehouse? That is SO 1990s-era Foot Clan, were they not able to rent out a community hall or something?
Although credit where credit's due, it looks like the writers did actually do some research for this one- not often you hear White Aryan Resistance or the World Church of the Creator referenced in movies.
"not often you hear White Aryan Resistance or the World Church of the Creator referenced in movies."
Which really seems unfair as one is the group that gave Geraldo Revera his brightest 15 minutes of fame, and the other was one of the early victims of the PATRIOT act. A guy is serving 40 years for a completely fabricated charge, and he can't even get a few mentions when the movement he was in gets put in the cross-hairs of hack hollywood writers?
I'm sure Matt Hale has bigger problems than worrying about being noticed by Hollywood (which is run by Jews anyway, right?).
"[Hollywood] is run by Jews"
Woah dude, that is not cool. Only neo-Nazi anti-semites like Ben Stein and David Horovitz make such paranoid claims.
I am so, so sorry for appearing to be "not cool"; in fact I beg your apology, as I totally understand and sympathise with your revulsion.
An example - when I read the book 'Made in America' by travel-writer/popular-historian Bill Bryson (a well-known, outspoken and unrepentant British-American neo-fascist Mosleyite whose notorious denunciations of social-democracy and the Democratic Party litter his trashy but inexplicably best-selling books) and saw his assertion, disgusting in its casual bigotry and flippant acceptance of crackpot conspiracy theories, that: "Hollywood... was created almost entirely by non-Americans- they were all eastern European Jews, poor and uneducated, who had left Europe in the same decade (the 1880s), and had established themselves in the New World in mostly lowly trades before they all abruptly - and instinctively, it seems - abandoned their careers in the first decade of thus century and became seized with the opportunities to be found in the nickelodeon [film entertainment] industry"... well, I threw up in my mouth a little. But of course how could I not expect such vile anti-Semitic filth from the kind of man who litters his writings with praise of Richard Nixon and Austria's election of Kurt Waldheim? He is right up there with those disgusting anti-Jewish bigots Ben Stein and David Horowitz you mentioned, White wing radical.
White wing radical, I like you. :)
I was with you until you implied Richie Nixon is in a similar category as Sir Mosley. That's like saying Fredo is similar to Vito Corleone. The closest Nixon ever got to nationalism was his virtual nationalization of more industry than ever seen in the US outside of wartime (I mean the four real wars the US had, not any of that half-assed meddling garbage like the Spanish-American or Vietnam wars). But taken in context, that activity was more in line with Marxism than Fascism. Sure, Tricky Dick talked shit about Jews behind closed doors, but I'm sure Barak "amnesty" Obama does too. The US hasn't had a non-traitor president since at least 1929. Or maybe 1933 if you take the position that Hoover was just an idiot, rather than a willful destroyer.
I wasn't comparing Nixon to Mosley, I was making a comment about the politics of mainstream centre-left social commentators- anything on the 'right' is bad, anything on the 'left' (especially the centre-left, perhaps the blandest political category in existence, ever) is good. For such commentators Nixon IS in the same category as Mosley or Waldheim, because they are all 'far-right'. The point wasn't clearly made, but I couldn't think of any other genuine NS people MY example (Bryson) had criticised- apart from Hitler, which seemed too obvious. GLR makes a very good point about Republican conservatives ('Fifty Years of Failure', WP) not being allies or cousins of the movement in any fashion whatsoever, and I agree with that. I think you misunderstood me, but that was my own fault due to poor wording.
I agree with everything you said, btw. I also don't think NS falls into the left-right spectrum at all, personally. GLR disagreed, but Mosley defined it as falling into the 'extreme centre' which seems to be the best fit if you feel the need to apply labels to something so complex. This is also why you get both academics & mainstream media calling it 'right-wing', and idiot US conservatives denouncing it as 'socialism' and the twin of Soviet communism and Obama as the Messiah of both. In my view it goes far beyond that kind of simple analysis.
"I was making a comment about the politics of mainstream centre-left social commentators"
Hah, that went right over my head. I thought you were being sincere in that pairing. Good show.
"I also don't think NS falls into the left-right spectrum at all, personally. GLR disagreed"
Commander Rockwell was associated with the John Birch Society, so he unfortunately took their narrow and historically inaccurate position about the parameters of "right" and "left" seriously.
" Mosley defined it as falling into the 'extreme centre'"
There is a type of socialist nationalism which is very centrist in relation to the 20th and early 21st century West, in that the average prole wants a bit more money for himself and wants what he sees as his land defended from invasion, but centrism in democratic societies always seems to be too damn stupid to actually obtain its goals. Jut as mainstream and most non-radical "leftists" see the face of Hiler in Richard Nixon, mainstream "conservatives," and even many outside of the mainstream proper, get snowed by the Nixons. In the last US presidential election, I can not count how many White advocates were saying that pro-Whites need to get out and vote for Mitt "we need more Mexicans in America" Romney.
why does Chuck Norris mother knows when is Hitler birthday?
Maybe she used to have a sweetheart in the nazi party?
Because Norris was born the same year Hitler died.
This is no coincidence.
That explain Nazi zombie then, Hitler had been dead for over 5 years before the war ended.
Didn't do very "well", thank you very much.
Not to be pedantic, but in this case, the 'do very good' and 'do very well' are facetious. While 'do very well' is grammatically correct, 'do very good' is funnier, because this film did no one any good.
I would rather watch Superstar than one new SNL episode with the current cast.
Maybe Chuck Norris shape-changed into the dog (like his character from Forest Warrior) and the other Chuck Norris was a stunt-double the entire movie? D:
It might go a ways to explain how the dog was doing more awesome things than the lead actor.
Ecch. If I want to see a tough as nails cop with an inappropriately wacky sidekick, I'll watch Cop and a Half, thank you very much. Wait, no I won't, that movie sucks!
Roger Ebert actually liked Cop and a Half. Gene Siskel did not.
Wait, the Pope, a rabbi, and a Mariachi band? You'd think they'd hold this thing in a bar!
The Pope, a Rabbi and a Mariachi band walk into a bar. The Dahli Llama ducks.
Lloyd is top cat~
Talk to the Paw
Somewhere Conan O Brien is pulling a lever. Actually come to think of it I don't think he did one for that movie like he did for Slaughter in Francisco and the Octagon.
Huh. Why, on your racial unity rally in 1995, would you fly the Apartheid-era South African flag that had been replaced the year before? And yes, I know, production lead times, but it only makes this whole thing seem even more tone deaf. Also, I could be wrong but I don't know if I've ever seen that breed used as a police dog. It's not so much intimidating as it is...fuzzy.
Magic clit machine?I need to get me one of those.
OOOooh, magic cliP machine. That makes more sense.I still want a magic clit machine though.
Chuck Norris; the man so bad at his job, even a dog will out perform him!
plus not even the dog wants to be next to him...
Cruising! You should review that movie some time.
So are there no Police movies with cat sidekicks or cats with police sidekicks?
Hear, Hear! Equal time for some feline crime (fightin')!
There's gotta be one somewhere......
That Darn Cat (1997)
A cat doing something to benefit other people? You'd have better luck finding civil spirit in potted flowers.
Bonkers was a cat.
There was a cartoon cat who was a police officer in Last Action Hero.
I thought Brad said "The clit machine" at first and figured maybe I missed the episode where his Cambot got a rather suggestive name.
Then I realized I was actively preventing oxygen from reaching my brain. "OH! Clip machine!"
Because I need strangers to know I am very stupid sometimes. Stupid and filthy in the mind.
I thought the same thing. Don't feel bad.
The very first time I ever heard about this movie was from Plinketts Ghost Dog review.
Case-in-point about how bad this is? I've seen it, but forgot I did until I saw this review.
The title of TOP DOG with Os designed like suns is causing me to shed tears of joy.
Being from San Diego I apologize for giving this movie the permits to be filmed.
Being from the United States I apologize for this film existing
Being a dog lover, I apologize for this movies existence.
This looks worse than To Catch a Yeti.
If you want to watch a movie about a dog and domestic terrorists, I would suggest I am Legend
Aaron Norris helped set up the action movie film festival Actionfest, but he also established a "Lifetime Achievement Award" that on the first year he presented to Chuck...who they immediately said his brother should have it. So Aaron basically gave himself an award. Jeez.
Best thumbnail ever.
It is a bit ironic that Chuck Norris stars in a pre-racial equality movie like this yet fired iranian actors from a set for not looking stereotypically iranian enough.
Your Chuck Norris impression sounds more like the kid from the "Why Study Industrial Arts?" short from MST3K.
The credits don't list Reno's vocal performer, so I'm just gonna assume it was Welker.
Wow that Oklahoma City Bombing coincidence is just...wow.
This episode was hilarious.
Not a single Lloyd in this video. 0 stars.
Holy balls. The film looks bad enough, but that release timing?! Was it too fucking expensive for them to reshoot the fucking thing? Or hell just outright shelve it? Were they contractually obligated to get the film out on time regardless of world events?
Speaking of Aaron Norris' movie Overkill, Brad needs to review the other Overkill movie - the 1987 wtf B action movie where shirts don't exists and the lead character, a cop who's taking down shirtless yakuza members and defending his US city from the Japanese mafia, is played (TERRIBLY) by a Playgirl model.
Given the coincidental timing of the movie's release and the Oklahoma City Bombing, I'm going to just go ahead and assume the bombing was secretly meant as a form of controversial advertising.
The funny part is this movie was re-cut for its 1998 VHS release.
All of the NAZI flags were cut the music was changed in spots and the speech from later in the movie is moved to the beginning as the setup for the explosion. It seems the original version was far inferior to the re-cut. I wonder how often that happens?
I remember this movie for 1 reason:
It taught me that 4/20 is Hitler's birthday.
Thanks, Top Dog.
Please try to review Shakma sometime!!
Im going to use this movie (and shitload of others dog cop dog flicks) as porving point in my thesis that christians (norris) and animal lovers are morons.
Uh-Oh! Now you did it. Once you've done one Chuck Norris movie, you've got to do them all.
Whoa, a new Weekend at Bernie's movie. Which one was the stiff?
The DOG DIES at the end of TURNER & HOOCH??? SPOILERS MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!11!1
A crime fighting dog and the word bozo? Is this the movie they got the inspiration for Mac and Charlie's movie in It's always sunny?
Some of the older archived videos of 2009 were brought over from the youtube account before thecinemasnob.com was created, so please forgive the lesser video quality of such as some did not transfer well.
