Welp, according to Blip the world simply isn't ready for Sasquatch week.
Sasquatch week has begun.
Please tell me you will be reviewing Harry and the Hendersons?
Steak fries, check
Energy drink, check
New episode of the cinema snob, no.
Seems blip isn't ready yet. I'm going to go punch the server in the face before my steak gets cold.
Had to go a good three rounds, one tough fucking server. Anyway, videos working now.
Finally begins! It's all gonna go uphill from here, at least for me anyway!
I always knew Blip planned on getting that Bigfoot next time....but I never thought they'd actually do it.
Yes, after a hard transition back to school, it's Sasquatch week.
*That Sasquatch at the start looks like the deformed lovechild of Christopher Lee in Curse of Frankenstein and a Tusken Raider.
*It seems like you make a snuff film joke every other episode now. How about an episode where every joke is a snuff film joke. Do you have some sort of snuff film joke quota to fill?
*Doesn't matter I still laughed at it.
Let the furryness continue (no, not those furries.)
haha, great review. It's almost amusing how the movie constantly seems to acknowledge how boring it is. I still wouldn't watch it though. But that's why we have you. :)
That mask reminds be of "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?". Also it must of been hard not to make any "Boggy Creek II: And the Legend Continues" references.
Maybe "Mummy Week" wouldn't be so bad.
Maybe a mummy week would include one or two of the 1940s Universal Kharis movies along with Face of the Screaming Werewolf where Lon Chaney Jr. played both a mummy and a werewolf!
Mummy Week or Sasquatch Week could include footage of The Giant (better known today as The Big Show) and something that looked like a Mummy named "The Yeti" attacked Hulk Hogan in a way that looked as if they were molesting the Hulkster.
I'm sure a few Sasquatch pornos are ahead of us, but I don't they'll be as aggravating The Curse of Bigfoot.
Whew, when I saw those palm trees at the beginning, I was worried we were heading into The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena territory. I was having horrible 90s Goosebumps flashbacks!
...wait, stuff actually happened in that book. Shit, get that one back here! Save us, R. L. Stine!
Okay, no mummy week, but can we at least get a mommy week
Love it. Love it. Love it! Twin Peaks music reference and the single greatest line against boring movies ever uttered by man: "You know how there are some things in the world that are movies? This isn't one of them."
P.S.: I know it's Sasquatch Week, and you're busy, but are you planning any "Random Button" minisodes soon? I can't listen to the "From Dusk till Dawn" podcasts, because I didn't watch the show yet. Or the films. Moral code, I guess.
I love me some Sasquatch! Furry laughs all week long!
So...next year is Mummy Week?
Im expecting some low grade big foot porn this week brad
Something that is worser than The Geek
Dont let me down brad!
I'm not entirely sure why, but the sleeping gag when they're climbing down the mountain just cracks me up. It's the little "what?" that just kills me. I know, weird but I really like that bit :)
Damn that movie's tedious ..... I don't think even seeing Mr. Jones' junk again would wake me up, if I was shanghai-ed into watching it. I salute you -- you, sir, have nerves (and buns) of steel.
Funny thing: Just today, I was listening to the episode of Radiodrome where you mention this movie. Who know? Maybe the next time I listen to the one where you mention Last American Virgin, that episode will premier.
Did you really think there was watchable Sasquatch movies??
I have only seen one "The untold" and it is one of the worst movies I have ever seen"
P.S Rifftax is kinda lame at this point MST3K was a thing, it isn't anymore. Let it go.
Don't EVER get discouraged from reviewing a movie if someone else did it first. Especially if it's rifftrax or MST. There happen to be people who find those shows mind-numbingly boring and think you are much funnier. I know that because I happen to be one of those people. I simultaneously love MST for inspiring reviewers such as yourself and hate it for being dull garbage with 20 minutes between every funny joke. Rifftrax doesn't even have that slight redeeming factor in my eyes.
That's true, but I think he was just kidding about that. Also, the voice on that part sounded exactly like Chris Bores. Either it was him or someone who does a dead on impression.
Is 'Night Of The Demon' next? Tell me an episode of NOTD is going to happen!
Hahaha, I used the rifftrax for this movie as fall-asleep backround noise for almost 6 months.
I sort of hope he's gonna come across the Nukie of Sasquatch, then it will really go uphill for us but it will be a bottomless pit of misery for Brad.
Loved the Twin Peeks reference.
P.S. Any chance of Slaver Brian showing up as Travis Crabtree this week. Especially if you end up riffing/snobbing one of the Boggy Creek movies?
But ivanpah does mean bigfoot when read backwards and translated from na'vi.
Is that Chris Bores voicing the email writer?
You should totally do Harry and the Hendersons: The
It lasted 72 episodes!
Have yous ever seens bigfeet?
Soooooo...this is a horror version of "Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny?"
Thanks for the shout out, Brad. Be seeing you soon!
Dear God! Planet of the Dinosaurs didn't have this much padding with their walking scenes! Also, I hope that the stuntman used for the burn scene didn't die or was severely injured. That's the last thing you want to be remembered for; being BBQ'ed in the name of bad cinema.
Wait, was that The Irate Gamer doing the "dear Cinema Snob" part ?
It sure sounded like him if not.
I doubt it, as both Brad and Doug have made fun of him several times in the past.
Does have Chris' odd speech patterns, though.
I fucking love you, Brad. This was just too funny. :)
"In my previous encounters with bigfoot, a dick is a solid guess"
When do we get Mummy Week?!
This is a Drive In movie. You see, in a Drive In movie, the more boring, the better. You were there to make out with your girlfriend. It wasn't the movie, it was how far you could get with your date. Man, I miss drive in movies.
Oh man, I'm getting some serious Coleman Francis flashbacks from this movie...
Holy shit what a boring movie xD .
Brad you made my day by reviewing this, this shit made my day, just because I was expecting something stupid to happen in this movie; then I realized that as the review went on that the movie IS stupid because it's so fricking boring.
I love this episode, it's one of my favorites.
My god, I haven't experienced something that wilfully anti-climatic since I read "At the Mountains of Madness"
More popular? Undeniable. Funnier however? I personally find the riffing method utilized by the likes of you, Nostalgia Critic, Spoony, ect. to be the natural progression of what Mst3k stared.
I snicker at Rifftracks. But few of their riffs can make me laugh as hard as the average Cinema Snob.
Some of the older archived videos of 2009 were brought over from the youtube account before thecinemasnob.com was created, so please forgive the lesser video quality of such as some did not transfer well.
