Is this theme supposed to be a jab at ABC Family's Christmas in July thing.
Rita looks a little like Sarah.
You have a potential goldmine here... you could reboot the Rita franchise.
Except Sarah's about six feet tall, much lower-voiced, and definitely neither androgynous nor hard to tell if it's she's an adult.
Well, her voice doesn't matter, since it would be dubbed over, anyway.
Brad could then stand on some boxes when next to Sarah to make her look short the way Tom Cruise does.
She would play Rita all grown up.
So, I guess Sarah age 12?
"See, that's the problem, officer... All short-haired white women look the same to me..."
I agree, It's the eyes and the hair, now I wanna see Sarah in a cute cowboy outfit
This movie looks amazing. I'm gonna have to track it down.
Little Rita of the West is available on youtube.
Hope this helps.
She sounds like a chipmunk and wooow this movie is weird and racist ...i am so tired of hitler porn...
Hey, just had an idea for the next theme week: Django Week! An entire week of unofficial Django sequels!
I second this. I could see some Star Wars jokes coming from "Django Shoots First"
She looks like Sarah
Wow...Well, now we know what happens when someone thinks the Ugg-a-Wugg song from the Mary Martin Peter Pan musical is the best part of that show and makes a movie in its honor.
Holy shit, Terence Hill! Now I wanna see you review "Superfuzz".
Yes Brad, please. That movie has one of the most absurd and over the top ways to escape from an electric chair and out of the prison. There's a lot of matieral there, it would make a cool review.
Will you ever review Musical Movies like Song of Norway.Darling Lili, Mame, Paint Your Wagon, and Lost Horizon in the Next musical march in september?
Holy shit, I just got that! Silly Bull? Syllable?
How much you want to bet that that is a lot less insulting than what she was calling him in Italian?
At least the bullets hitting each other mid-air was supposed to be unrealistic in this movie. Everyone just got annoyed when I criticised "Wanted" for doing the same thing while taking itself WAY too seriously.
That's already the second movie with Terence Hill on your show. That's amazing. He's a legend over here, especially when he teams up with Bud Spencer.
"Over here". That would not be Germany, would it? :)
I hope you do have a copy of that Little Rita Nazi movie lying around in your basement because now I want to see it reviewed next!
Please do the Clint Eastwood Paint your Wagon
From the title card I thought this was going to be another western with dwarfs... or a porn with dwarfs.
Please find that Rita/Nazi film. I've got to see what the fuck that's about.
Okay, it just hit me, you could've made a Marcy D'Arcy reference.
Maybe that would explain the whole opening of the shirt bit, just like "Peggy And The Pirates".
"I am strangely attracted to you and your dubious sexuality"
"let me remove all doubt and prove to you that I am no boy" *flashes*
"Look CLOSER, you idiot!"
Brad, did you murder Rita?
Hey, you missed, pal!
Here, Snob. This will explain everything.
I've heard of the western musical Paint Your Wagon, but I never heard of an Italian western musical.
2:12- Ha. I'd love to see you review that Nazi musical. Also, I hope to God that it's a comedy.
Is it just me, or does Rita kinda look like a young Alyson Hannigan?
9:18- If this is a gay western, we would see these guys get Fisted Full of Dollars.
18:24- So THIS is what happened to the town drunk from Blazing Saddles. =P
I've obviously heard of Custer's Revenge thanks to AVGN and Game Boys, ...but I have never before heard of General Retreat (AKA Custer's Revenge: The Opposite Edition).
21:22- I've seen Rita's Wikipedia page, and she was 22 when this movie was released. So, I guess what I've trying to say here is ...JERK AWAY, SNOB! ...Excuse me while I take a long shower just for saying that.
Wait a minute...
Sunset Riders for arcade, Genesis or SNES?
I like my game references to be platform-exclusives, thank you very much.
This is MY movie. I've spent 5 years fapping to Rita weekly at least.
since i know brad gonna post the riff me, him n' cecil did, imma chill...
For the audience that wanted a Western musical, but thought that Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was just too PC.
Every now and then, I actually love these more light-hearted movies thrown into the mix for the Snob. It's nice to have that occasional bit of variation that gets away from all the leg-chopping and cannibalism and creepy yetis and ET fucking that we normally get, and it just goes to show that an adorable movie can be just as fun for the snob as any ol' exploitation flick, especially when crybaby PC-police on youtube or bumbler take shit way too seriously.
However, I myself cannot help but think "what the fuck" in regards to that Nazi flick, so I think we're gonna have to see that one somewhere down the line!
Good review. I'm always slightly interested in musical westerns. So Brad are you going review The Return of Captain Invincible for Musical March (in September)? Ever since Christopher Lee died, I've been hoping you would review it. Christopher Lee has the best singing voice. He's hands down the best part of the movie.
Lovely Rita, meter maid.
I would like to Brad to review a film I just discovered because of a article on io9.com. It's called The Isle of Lesbos, which is, more or less, a "Lesbian musical", and it reminded me of the musical numbers from Chatterbox.
Here is the link to the trailer so you can see the musical awesomeness:
Sunset Riders reference? Brad I love you.
...Why the fuck AREN'T you talking about that Nazi movie?! Isn't one of your alternate titles "The Nazisploitation Show"?!
Rita can have gold guns and grenades because you said it yourself, in this movie. gold stands for white MANs greed, white WOMEN apparently don't count to these 75%-racist-stereotype Generic Native Americans.
I much prefer Bud Spencer.
Brad, please tell me we don’t have to wait until NEXT September to see your review of The Crazy Kids of the War!
The Nazi movie (assuming there's only one) but it's un-dubbed.
The "Springtime for Hitler" stuff is at around 40 minutes in.
I know they were both Axis powers, but it's still funny to me, hearing Nazis banter in Italian.
Why do people call him "the man with no name" when he has a credited name in all three of the films?
He's "the man with no name...with three names."
"I am the Man With No Name...Zapp Brannigan!"
We can Thank-Blame Alex Jowski for this one!
Well, Little Rita's singing was certainly...interesting.
Some of the older archived videos of 2009 were brought over from the youtube account before thecinemasnob.com was created, so please forgive the lesser video quality of such as some did not transfer well.
