'MURICA, F YEAH!
Thinking back to the Reb Brown movies, I'm suddenly sad we didn't get Christopher Lee doing Red Skull.
Or, now that you've mentioned it, Montalban.
Who's Reb Brown? He sounds familiar.
This Red Skull looks more like a Howling 2 character with the bad makeup. Golan must've damaged the Skeletor face before making this.
Reb Brown: a.k.a. Blast Hardcheese, Smash Lampjaw, Gristle McThornBody, Bolt VanderHuge, Flint IronStag, Dirk HardPec, Buff Drinklots... and on and on and on.
Spoony did several videos on his movies, like Brad did with Pierre Kirby
You've made those names up!
Love those names.... they sound like they'd be the guys doing that 'Bro Reviews' idea mentioned awhile back. :D
@Grid Wolfbrood, Attorney at Spying:
No, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 made those names up in the episode on Space Mutiny.
For the rest of the, here's a YouTube compilation video:
Awww the Captain America 1990 review. Back when Doug was funny. Good times good times.
I was more expecting / hoping for The New Blood but regardless, is great to have ya back.
They failed to make Captain America awesome in 1944, 1979, and 1990. Thank God Marvel came to their senses around 2011 with their Cinematic Universe. Also, I watched the first half of this movie on YouTube less that a month before the first Iron Man movie came out; I stopped watching, because it was fuckin' boring.
4:35- One, I like "Hail Hydra!" better, thank you very much. Two, we have ourselves an internet meme. Three, nice Indiana Jones joke.
Does anyone else notice that while Steve is in the Cap suit, his ears are made of rubber?
10:16- That music sounds like a ripoff of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel."
14:03- Ninjas! CALL THE COPS! There are ninjas kidnapping world leaders! ...The cops!
14:31- Um, Puny Steve later did that in the beginning of The First Avenger.
21:15- Mentos: The Freshmaker.
Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go to the theater to see Captain America: Civil War again.
21:15 More like "Hey Mr. President, Jesus Man!"
I knew watching so many Pureflix and Christiano movies would be bad for your health. I too would suffer a head injury.
It's good to see you back on the Cannon train. Be well and good journey down the rabbit hole.
Now that you mention it, what head injury is the Snob referring to? Did Brad really get hurt? Did he fall off the Porch again?
There was a health care mentioned on twitter that required a hospital visit but he'll be fine, reportedly.
Here's a comic book reference you can use on Dave...
I present, Captain America 69: "The Weird Tales of the Wee Males"...
I'm not sure if you're waiting for a Catcher in the Rye reference in the comments, or you really didn't know that Matt Salinger is JD Salinger's son...
I was wondering the same thing.
When Captain America throws his mighty shield
all those who oppose his shield must yield
If he's led to a fight & a duel is due
then the red, & the white, & the blue'll come through
when Captain America throws his mighty shield
I admit, I do find it more accurate that the guy who's supposed to be the most "American" superhero is dumb as a post.
Civil War, in a nutshell... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDSR5ZLQ_6U
No Friday the 13th movie?
Nice review! I'm a little surprised that you didn't do a theme week for your 350th episode special, like how you did Pierre Kirby Week, E.T. Week and Sasquatch Week, but maybe you're holding that off until a later date.
Can't wait to see your next Friday the 13th review!
Awesome! I know your busy and have a life but your still going to do New Blood this week right?
Unfortunately his busy life just meant a recent hospital stay..... so I'm rather hoping he takes it nice and slow. Workaholics can be their own worst enemies (believe me, I have 'em in my family) ;)
Besides .... Lloyd & Chloe need him the most.... he's got 'da thumbz'! :D
So Brad when are you going to review Violent Shit 5 aptly titled Violent Shit: The Movie?
Another great video, Bradley. These direct-to-video Christian films have such poor writing, acting, and directing. Why do they even bother?
I hear even Roger Corman made one. It's called "Fantastic Faith" or something.
Captain Armenia, he more heroic and have better moustache !
A summer in Venice to teach you Italian? Sure. At best you'll have functional comprehension of Venetian. Not even a dialect, entirely separate language.
Some of the older archived videos of 2009 were brought over from the youtube account before thecinemasnob.com was created, so please forgive the lesser video quality of such as some did not transfer well.
