The following made me lose my shit laughing.
"Oh man... oh god oh man.... oh god oh man! OH GOD OH MAN!"
"It's a car... it's a car.. oh my it's a CAR! OH SHIT YOU SEEING A CAR!"
I know too many people who are like the... cast* of this movie, even dress like the cast.
*Saying they are "actors" would assume they're acting.
You're so racist.
Adolf, you're a hypocrite.
This man brings up a good point, these men and women are being used! They're being used to create a black exploitation film that is also a slasher film.
Lord have mercy on the directors and producers of this foul beast of a film.
Actually I kind of liked the acting in this film.
You silly americans, you know nothing about film making.
Hey buddy I'm a german!
This isn't about America, even we Americans realize that this film is bad. Even if some of us do find the acting to be terrible, we can all agree that no matter what this film is hard to watch without cringing.
Now let's set aside our differences, and lets all agree that this was a bad movie. Who's with me?
Wow a lot of celebrities in the comment section today.
You know... after watching this again, I realize that The Snob disses rap a lot in this movie. My god, I absolutely LOVE rap! Rap is the best music out there in my opinion; it's poetic and overall just so fun to listen to... I hate all that snobbish singing music, or that poser ass rock and role.
As a writer who hates chorus and loves poetry, it only makes sense that I love rap and hate anything that has to do with singing. Sure I listen to some rock and roll and some Elton John, and some Billy Joel, and some Paul Simon; but whenever I hear a sweet rap tune come on I just get totally into it.
meh, maybe it's just my bias.
Rap is crap. It's not poetic and it's barely even music. Infact, rap and hip hop was the start of music decline.
Noticed how progressively terrible music became in the '90s? And now mainstream music of the new millennium is absolute garbage.
We have to resort to going back to the past to the '80s and earlier for good music. Thank dog we at least have underground music.
If you think rap is great, well that's your opinion; but it's my opinion that you have shitty taste in music.
No sir! That's not how it declined.
Music declined not because of Rap and Hip Hop. Music declined because WE abandoned our dearly beloved singers like Billy Joel, and Sting; because they got old and we all thought "Gee, there's no way they're ever going to be as good as they used to be." And that might be true, but the fact is that most of the people who said such things, never even listened to any of Billy Joel's new songs, same goes for Sting.
The "Good" guys got old, and then we were left with crap singers, who were born thinking "Gee if I follow in those guy's footsteps I'll be 100% just as good." AND GUESS WHAT! THEY'RE NOT!
We get left with bands like one direction, and singers like Beyoncé and Justin Beiber; kids that started singing at an EXTREMELY young age, and were picked out not because of their musical talents but because of their GOD DAMN VOICES.
Music wasn't killed by rap, music killed itself. And all you pricks out there just want to blame it on rap.
Many people who enjoy rap believe that in todays time, rap itself is dead. Not because of a lack in quality in the talent: but a lack in quality because of a lack of demand.
I listen to all the big rappers, I listen to Sir Ludacris, I listen to Big Boi, I listen to the N.W.A, I listen to Geto Boys, and I listen to Heavy D and The Boyz.
I listen to Rap because I'm tired of rock and roll. Any dumb son of a bitch can listen to rock and roll, it takes a true poet, a man of true tastes, to enjoy a good rap.
Go listen to Black Coffee by Heavy D and The Boyz. Tell me what you think.
And Honestly, there are still some good rock bands out there.
Ones I can think of off the top of my head are Ninja Sex Party, and Steel Panther.
"it takes a true poet, a man of true tastes, to enjoy a good rap. "
Funniest goddamn thing I've read so far this month.
Ehn. Old-school rap, maybe. Current rap is all about 'bitches and hoes' and who has the most money. Little to no popular rap could be called "poetry".
Is there underground rap that is poetry? I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of the genre. I like melody and stuff, quite a bit less than the beats in rap.
Still. Everybody's got their opinion. :/
So the murderer is going to get revenge for the murders he committed? Will he come back from the grave and commit suicide? The creators of this movie don't even understand basic English.
This movie looks like its made by a neighbourhood that put together a tiny budget and ran around like idiots without any actual screenplay. Just a 'director' telling everyone to 'act natural' and no one taking anything seriously enough to even pretend to act.
It was hard to get through if you were trying to criticise this as an actual 'movie', but if you took this as more of a 'home video' sort of thing, it's actually pretty hilarious.
Wow! For a condemned killer this "Blind in Riker's" sounds sexy!
Also, I am NOT racist but I can't stand rap. But then, I'm not a big fan of Heath Ledger's Joker so to each his/her own.
According to IMDB the movie cost $650 to make and had a worldwide gross of 184 GBPs.
It's showing Hard Gore instead Ax 'Em on this page.
awwww, its not Ax 'em. This is my favorite review!
You can watch the actual Ax 'Em here!
What happened to the real video? Did the creators turn into the Grizzly 2 producer too?
The video is "Hardgore" and not "Ax 'Em"
All the racism really threw me off. And these goddamn stupid comments, whew. "rap destroyed good music"/"rap isn't real music" is the biggest fucking sign post of casual racism ever. most people saying this don't realize "real music" (your blues, rock n roll, ragtime etc.,) was shunned for years for being black music before it got popular in the mainstream segment of society and then it was rebranded so much so any black kid will get flak for listen to rock music nowadays when the architects of rock n roll were black.
I hate to quote Ike Turner but when asked about the Beatles he said, "that's just black music with an accent". Also the Beatles were overrated, I'll take any rapper over the Beatles any day. And I used to like the Beatles. But then I realized that saying rap isn't real music is very, very racist.
Black people invented a new form of music (since rock n roll was no longer "black music" and completely taken over by the white male establishment - mainstream society) relying on lyrical flow and actual spoken word *rhythm* and it's "not real music". Lovely.
Black culture will never be respected. No matter how much talent it takes to write verses and flow them with a beat. Hell, most white people can't dance on beat let alone speak on beat.
But anyway, play the Cosby Show theme over this comment. That lovely black man white people weren't afraid to let in their houses because he wasn't threatening with his black culture.
This movie actually reflects black culture so for most white people it just boils down to "shit I saw on tv because I know no actual black people".
Some of the older archived videos of 2009 were brought over from the youtube account before thecinemasnob.com was created, so please forgive the lesser video quality of such as some did not transfer well.
