Have you guys seen the edit of To Boldly Flee that cuts it down to 95 minutes?
But did they cut Kyle's cameo?
Hey, Brad. Did The Drop come to your town?
I saw it yesterday, and thought it was pretty good. A nice sendoff for James Gandolfini. Really damn compelling story.
I will agree with the recommendation. I saw it as a double feature with No Good Deed. At least The Drop was first, I liked it without having this bad movie sullying my initial thoughts.
Wait,Brad you act in the identical? Why didnt you post anything about it before? We demand some behind the scenes footage!
Seriously, you should do some spoof footage about that movie.
Congrats, Brad! you now have a highest and lowest rated movie! At 5%...
...Uh. Actually, the actress talked on a radio show...saying it is purposely made to do that. No seriously, she literally said how you Brad it.
*She literally said it how you said it Brad, its for the talkative audience
Have you been in Japan?
Are you trying to say that all the japanese look alike?Thats racist!
AH! "Pigeons from Hell''
OK, I just saw The Identical. Brad and Jake basically covered everything I was thinking about it. The fake beard was the point of no return for me.
You guys didn't stress just how much they talk about God in the film. It's really jarring.
Nevertheless, I want to thank you for the recommendation.
All that Bateman talk reminded me: Did you ever get around to viewing "Bad Words" and would you PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE do a review on it?
There actually is another Brad Jones -in- The Identical, he's playing a character named Ray Reynolds. It currently links to the correct page, did it used to link to your page? that's kind of amazing.
Not for me it isn't. Unless the man is a literal clone.
IMDB has the right Brad Jones. Apparently he's a singer songwriter. Rotten Tomatoes has the wrong Brad Jones. Unless they're the same person and Brad secretly moved to Nashville....
Dammit Brian, now I want to see a thriller/horror movie with Mike Epps as the villain, that'd be fucking hilarious!
Mister Brad: The first thing he says which is actually a descent lie-
Master Brian: SNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOIRK
Master Brain turned into the Warrior I like Warrior very much for someday when I break free from my shackles I will challenge Master Brain to a Wrestlemania and I will load the rockets with the skeletons and it will be YOU Hok Hogan who will know the true meaning of pain
At 32:29 I heard "Burial Ground Nights of Terror" and thought the video was over.
I practically have the whole episode memorized by now.
As well as Porno Holocaust. *I*
"Well, this one starts off with a bang. Never mind story development...etc."
Idris Elba kicks so much ass!
I sure hope those "casting geniuses" at DC do the right thing and choose him to be Green Lantern John Stewart for the Justice League- if not Idris, then either Rocky Carroll from NCIS or Erik King from season 1& 2 of Dexter.
Although since the addition of Eisenberg as Lex Luthor I've lost a little faith in their casting abilities. . .
Is Hennfer Lopez EVER going to do that "Taco Flavored Kisses" movie where she works at a taco joint?!
Also, Brad, or anybody care to comment, are you excited for "Annabelle", even though Mr. Wan is only producing? I'm a tad worried about that but I'll give it a chance.
Congrats again, Brian! Treat her right, ya dang slave driver!
Also, Brain, it was Keith David, not Louis Gossett Jr. :)
Lastly, I'd LOVE for Steve Carell to play a villain, enough kiddy crap!
I've only really seen Taraji P. Henson from Person of Interest (which she was actually really good in) and The Karate Kid (where I thought she was god awful) and it sounds like she's been in some pretty good movies early in her career but if I heard right, she wanted to leave Person of Interest to focus more on her film career. If that's true, the only films she's made since leaving are the Think Like a Man movies and this one...yeah. Now she's going back into another TV series, so not sure what to think.
Then again, I also heard that her character on POI had a limited timing from the beginning anyway and except for one element, has been handled very effectively and elegantly. If that's true, I completely understand and hope she does find better roles in the future, but if its the former, she should probably just stick to TV if she's going to choose movies like these.
Obsessed starred Idris Elba too ;)
So I think this clears the air a bit about Brian's slaves. Apparently he has or had white ones, too.
Now that's just racist
he also had hispanic ones too
"hello, officer, this man is forcing his child to watch Nukie"
Hey Brad, will you be seeing The Drop? I went to see it last night and thought it was ok. I was wondering what your thoughts on that movie was.
It wasn't Lou Gosset Jr. that Roddy Piper had the long fight with, Brian -.- it was Keith David.
And I only caught that because I just watched They Live yesterday.
Louis Gossett Jr.? Um, don't you mean Keith David?
MANY people still have lan line phones. It is too expensive to only have a cell phone. Also, business people tend to have fax machines even today.
I still use cassette players and turntables. Not everyone is fond of smart phones and MP3 players. I hate those jack of all trades devices.
Lawyers especially have Fax machines, since they send back and forth a lot of sensitive papers.
Gonna have to contradict you about the expensive to only have a cell phone thing. I spend less on my phone monthy than I would to have a land line in my apartment.
On the second, I hear you. My phone is only as a back-up for when I want music now and have no other alternative. I still love my vinyls and tapes.
Until I upgraded my plan last week, I was paying $28 a month for cell.
If you get a Trak-Phone it's even cheaper.
Cell phones are very cheap.
That's why almost everyone has one these days, even people with land lines.
Ummm, this is probably a 'too damn personal' question but my curiosity has *no* shame: Since Brian and Sara are (obviously) divorced, what's her maiden/'real' last name? Not 'Lewis', of course, but I've only seen her as 'Sara Lewis'; Jillian reverted back to 'Zurawski' and has talked about her issue with people fucking up the pronunciation (I hear that! .... you wouldn't think mine would be hard -but damn!)
They are brother & sister so her last name remains the same!
"Caligula" LARP-ing....? (shudder)
No, just no....
Also....I want to place a new addition to Brian's long list of titles: "SARTORIAL SWEATER-WEARING Sitter Slaver Brian". (feeling strangely proud of myself)
The list of adjectives grow, ‘Sartorial sweater-wearing, sitting chair-man, slaver Brian’.
Ah Brian, my man (48:38) ! I don't care what people say, Nightmare City is awesome!
Really hoping you guys give Tusk a gander, since it's got me curious, and I'm usually not one for horror flicks. If it is as cliche as most torture porn flicks that hit the screen of late, I'm going to be greatly disappointed in Smith. He'd likely have been better off shooting for a Dogma sequel, imho.
Guys, you guys just watched a Black movie. You guys continue to enter these movies, and yet you don't seem to look for the common themes. The next time you guys enter one, remember these two traits:
1. Exceptionally good actors
2. Exceptionally bad script
May or may not contains Jesus.
where are these wedding photos?
Nice cold weather clothes, dudes!
Nonsense, in many places it's normal to have landlines, in addition to cell phones. They are much cheaper tarife wise, so it's stupid to use cell phones at home.
At least that's what I hear it's not like I use a cell phone and know it's costs.
