Was there exploding amnesia? :)
I haven't seen a single movie in this franchise but I'm willing to give it a try if they're this much fun.
The VW beetle covered in pikes is a tribute to The Cars That Ate Paris.
Maybe blond lady was into you Sara and that's why she didn't adhere to the buffer seat unwritten rule thing :P
If someone I didn't know ever sat directly next to me in a theater, I would immediately move. In fact, that's happened to me a few times.
Don't violate my personal space!
Totally agree with you. Rude people Suck! Why sit right next to someone. I don't understand that behavior.
I was in a theater completely alone and 2 different people sat next to me. 1 directly behind and the other one right next to me not even a seat between us.
Totally agree. Don't violate my personal space.
I am glad they gave a tribute to Paul Walker, his death was a real tradegy.
It was his own fault.
He wasn't the one driving, asshole.
How was it his fault when he wasn't the freaking driver in the wreck?
No need to crash the mood, bro.
Nice. Meanwhile, you being an ass is your personal failing.
Um, no? He wasn't the one driving. Paul Walkers' death was not his fault.
How was it his own fault? He was a passenger in the car. He didn't crash the thing.
Well no, it was not his own fault, he was not driving.
That is like saying it was Abraham Lincoln's fault he was shot.
How was it his fault, he was the passenger?
The Mad Max trailer came only 3 days ago
The new one did. but the first trailer has been around sense about october and the second WHAT A LOVELY DAY trailer has been out since about christmas.
You are lucky some jerk did not take his baby into the theater, I like baby's but not in a theater! remember when you went to see robo cop? theater's are not daycare's! if you can not find a baby sitter you do not get to see your movie! This film gets 4 stars for being baby free.
I have no idea what this movie is about, but it sounds hilarious.
stag that shit id golden quality
Dont worry about missing next week. The only movie coming out is that Nicholas Sparks movie
Oh man in that case you HAVE to do a Midnight Screenings video with Doug and Rob Walker. That would be the best.
Apparently, movies like Clouds of Sils Maria and Ex Machina are coming out at the exact same time as that soon-to-be Nicholas Sparks abomination.
Not your best work, Sarah is too angry
So she's not allowed to be anything but happy?
I love that Statham is pretty much playing Jason Voorhees in this film, just showing up once a setpiece in order to fuck shit up. It was a lot of fun.
You'll be glad to miss out on next week's movies, Brad. The new Nicholas Sparks film hits.
Dude, a Brad & Doug episode of Midnight Screenings would be awesome! I hope you can find the time to swing that while in Chicago!
That could make for an interesting video, seeing how a lot of the time Doug has a very differentiating opinion from Brad.
The UFC chick you were thinking of was Ronda Rousey. Awesome woman.
(Yes I did check to see if it was mentioned before, it wasn't. Granted, you've probably has 800 tweets about that already)
Avengers 2? No. Mad Max? Yes!
Mad Max is the only film I'm really looking forward to this year.
I had my fill of comic book movies about 3 years ago and find the genre pretty tiresome now.
fuck the Avengers, i want Mad Max Fury Road to makes billions so we can get grindhouse art films with R ratings again.
I fully fucking agree with you there, buddy.
Deadpool, low budget and R rated
Mad max, R rated
Kingsmen, john wick, Dredd, ect all R rated
Spielberg was right, the major billion dollar blockbusters are gonna cause a film crash and the gritty Antithesis of those films, the R rated action filsm will be the net.
fuck yes that should happen. Lets also bring back Temple of Doom PG!
Can't fucking believe there is a new Fast movie.
you can watch Downton Abbey on PBS for free in the States i think
It's also on Amazon Prime instant video
Hey, Brad. I'll see you at that con in Detroit next week! Will it be out of line if I ask to get a picture with you? Not sure how cons work. Never been to one. Don't want to be a dickhead.
Also, a Midnight Screenings with Doug would be awesome. If you can make that happen, go for it.
I hope Ted 2 won't be as bad as Caddyshack 2 or Beverly Hills cop 3 and I love the first Ted movie. I wish there could be good comedy sequel examples I could think of other than Dumb and Dumber 2.
I like to think of the Fast & Furious movies as a series of guilty pleasure movies. You can't help but like them no matter its quality. Since this series has become a cultural phenomenon, I guess the term guilty pleasure no longer applies!
Here's how I rank them from best to worst:
1. Fast & Furious 6 (2013)
2. Furious 7 (2015)
3. The Fast and the Furious (2001)
4. Fast & Furious (2009)
5. Fast Five (2011)
6. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
7. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
The next couple of weeks before Avengers 2 seem like total weaksauce, so I don't know how much of it is good enough for me! And yes, I so want to see the new Mad Max movie in case you're wondering!
James Wan also directed Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon which was technically his first action film.
I always considered "Tokyo Drift" as the dumb one.
Sarah you don't extract revenge you exact revenge :P
Sarah's gonna claw a bitch.
Also; I got no previews before Furious 7, so I missed the opening scene with Statham. Those Omaha bastards.
So was Vin Diesel's character cursed by the thing from It Follows in this movie, because Statham followed him everywhere.
lol, that got a good laugh out of me, nice =)
There are TWO important words that make me look forward to next week's reviews with inordinate amounts of glee: 'Sarah ' and.....
This movie had a sword-fight with giant wrenches and a bit where the Rock removes a cast by flexing. I approve.
I knew I wouldn't like this movie for the same reasons as everybody else in the theater I was at when Paul Walker's character was introduced with a super closeup shot and seeing his face made me think back to Brad doing the "it's a g.. gh... gh... GHOST" bit.
Hated it! For me it seemed wrong degree of stupid, not stupid enough to be good, but too stupid to be bearable. So it seemed too long for me. A little bit better than 6, due to nice car action scenes and Statham.
fast 5 would the best for me.
So this is late, probably won't get a response but...
Brad, you're watching Bunheads? I remember you reviewing the first episode on Radiodrome and saying it wasn't for you. What changed your mind? It's awesome, right?
Its funny you mention that this is a Fast & Furious film that collided with a Statham film because both Luke Evans & Statham were in Blitz so there you go.
So, Re:the Ted 2 trailer.
So, "Ted" was allowed to get married -something not even every state allows for gay people- yet he's not considered enough of "a person" to be allowed to parent a child?
