Tequila and Bonetti search for Bonetti's stolen car, and Brad makes Sarah cry again.

So nice! Glad to see you back in full swing, Brad! Lots of fun overall. I wonder what Emmy Award Winner Mariska Hargitay would think of all this nowadays. They don't get to do hijinks on Law & Order: SVU. It also makes me wonder why no one has cast Jack Scalia for a guest spot on a Law & Order episode. This is the reunion we sorely need!
6/3/2015 01:36:53 pm
I really like The Hard Way, so I hope clips from that show up soon
6/3/2015 01:58:59 pm
The Hard Way is awesome, that's one of my favorite Michael J Fox flicks, plus Stephen Lang is a great freakin villain in that.
6/4/2015 11:04:58 am
I never heard of this film before, and I noticed that when I looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes, the reviews for that film were quite positive. I can't wait to see what the linking plot points between the next episode and the film in question will be like.
6/8/2015 08:49:29 am
I actually own "The Hard Way" on laserdisc that is the best way to watch it.
6/3/2015 01:35:36 pm
I was hoping to see Sarah actually in tears, but nope just a frown. Awesome review.
6/3/2015 11:33:05 pm
Oh, so you like to watch women cry. What the fuck is wrong with you?
6/4/2015 11:29:30 am
Ooh sexy times YAYIS!! :D
6/3/2015 01:36:52 pm
You're one sick guy for making Sarah cry again, Brad. But seriously thank you for sharing Tequila and Bonetti. This series is awesome.
6/3/2015 01:58:43 pm
I love this ones.
6/3/2015 02:06:19 pm
It's okay Sarah. Turner and Hooch made me cry too. God dammit, I came for hi-jinx Comedy Central.
6/3/2015 02:25:13 pm
Tuvok had a troubled youth before being sent to starfleet.
6/4/2015 12:18:19 pm
Before he was on Voyager, he appeared in a Next Generation episode as one of a group of villains who were trying to steal some dangerous material from the Enterprise.
6/5/2015 03:54:04 am
And before that he played random Vulcan crewman (retconned to be Tuvok) on the Excelsior in Star Trek VI
6/3/2015 02:26:23 pm
That was Tuvok from Star Trek: Voyager stealing cars. This series just keeps getting better and better!
6/5/2015 08:34:23 am
I noticed that too.
6/3/2015 02:28:03 pm
I know they're not meant to be, but I can't help but feel all of the "Sarah cry" bits are kinda mean.
6/3/2015 05:55:30 pm
Have they done Sarah Cries bits outside of this?
6/3/2015 07:40:26 pm
Yea. The only one I know of though is Short Circuit 2. At the end I believe Sarah said "I hate you" to Brad, but was kinda smiling. So it's mean but I think Sarah herself is fine with the idea.
6/3/2015 03:37:45 pm
"T & B" aired around the time of "Quantum Leap"'s 4th season, when the show was becoming more socially conscious and experimental. I assume this is because of "T & B" rich story telling quality we got the terrific "Lee Harvey Oswald" episode of QL.
6/3/2015 04:02:27 pm
Dammit, we need to see more of Sarah smiling!
6/3/2015 04:23:42 pm
Dude, have you shown Sarah the end of Midnight Cowboy?
6/3/2015 05:41:34 pm
God dammit Brad, even when Turner & Hooch isn't full-screen that shit makes me cry.
6/3/2015 06:34:02 pm
Yeah, even with the shot dog, this was a mild one compared to the previous two episodes, but luckily, seeing Sad Sarah return got things back on the tragic-track!
6/4/2015 12:57:18 am
Something looks right about Tequila holding that cigar in his mouth.
6/4/2015 12:59:09 am
The guy who stole the Cadillac was played by Tim Russ who starred as Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager.
6/21/2015 03:24:00 pm
Yeah, I saw that IMMEDIATELY. And the little girl from the previous episode played Clara in "Imaginary Friend".
6/4/2015 02:53:05 am
Feeling better Brad~? How is that bump on the noggin?
6/4/2015 04:06:00 am
You know Brad, you could fix your eyebrow problem by maybe shave the other half of it and leave it be, or shave the other one with it to balance it off. Come to think of it, I don't mind the Snob looking like Uncle Fester with a goatee!
6/4/2015 02:41:12 pm
I don't even think it's a problem, he looks pretty cool as is, I don't think the half a missing eyebrow has made him look any worse. If anything it just makes him look tougher.
6/4/2015 02:44:33 pm
Yeah, he can tell everyone he got it fighting a slayer in China during the Boxer Rebellion!
6/4/2015 04:24:32 am
Halloween Beach Blanket Chainsaw Massacre needs to be a movie, if it doesn't exist already.
Jack D Mask
6/4/2015 06:36:35 am
Wow, poor Sarah. You guys are such assholes. Ha! "Sarah, watch this movie." "Why?" *Big shit eating grins all around* "No reason."
6/4/2015 07:50:03 am
A. I am glad to see that you are feel better, I hope your shoulder keeps improving.
6/4/2015 08:15:56 am
Is the dog from Tequila and Bonetti the same one from Turner and Hooch?
6/5/2015 03:59:28 am
They don't really look much alike, plus Hooch looks older than Tequila (and T&H was made years before T&B), but they are the same breed (French Mastiff).
6/4/2015 10:07:44 am
Making Sarah cry should become its own series.
6/4/2015 10:28:32 am
nomnomnom it's BACON!!
6/4/2015 11:33:34 am
She should watch the ending scene of that Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode, where Will's father comes along and then ditches him without telling him (again). That scene always gets to me (r.i.p. James Avery).
6/4/2015 10:37:52 am
Well.... I guess instead of being the 20th commenter on here referencing the Tuvok sighting [lol], I'll point out that another Law & Order alum shows up in the cigar smoking dog scene - Legal Aid Shambala Green [played by Lorraine Toussaint]
Alan Eunabrow Dalby
6/4/2015 02:13:50 pm
I think this is my favorite series of Brad reviewing stuff. What a weird show that I somehow never saw. Glad he's not just like doing the pilot and moving on like a flight attendant with loins aflame.
6/4/2015 05:18:06 pm
Man, Mariska Hargitay was fit as fuck
6/4/2015 05:19:44 pm
Hey Brad - if you ever run out of Dog/Detective shows to watch, you should take a look at the Austrian/German "Kommissar Rex".
6/5/2015 08:10:36 am
Holy Crap!!! Tim Russ is the car thief!!!
6/5/2015 11:52:30 am
Well Brad, you seem to have created a new subgenre of exploitation: Tear Snuff. Defined emphasis on the unsimulated weeping of the protagonist. You're the Ruggero Deodato of crying.
6/7/2015 01:46:43 pm
A 50's style horror movie with 70's style tropes and 80s level gore?
the night watchman
6/9/2015 12:24:41 pm
I love these reviews because I can finally achieve the Tequila and Bonetti experience without actually having to watch Tequila and Bonetti. Thank you, Brad.
7/13/2015 07:59:01 am
More Tequila & Bonetti please. I'm completely captivated by this show!
7/4/2022 07:48:39 pm
A good article, a compelling story requires the author to have a keen sense and eye to have an in-depth look at it. I am very impressed with your article.

In this series, Brad spotlights & reviews some of the weirder titles from his collection, that don't necessarily fall into any specific categories.
