That's not a beagle, that's a basset!
I was just about to say that. Beagles and Basset Hounds only share a minor similarity. Although, you can't really blame Brad. He's a cat person.
Hahaha, love this movie. Was thinking about it just yesterday, in fact.
Great show! Loved the fact you guys were playing yourselves, in a more videocast kinda thing. So, since Phelous ... And the Movies has a more Riff thing going on, are you guys keeping both shows. is this a one shot-ish, or this is the new "Phelous, Lupa and Brad and The Movies"?
"Movie Nights" is Allison's show, you should check out more episodes, they're a great watch.
Thats why I love your crossovers, buddy. :)
yeah, a few months ago they did a three part series on the hulk hogan atrocity, Thunder in Paradise. all three videos are pretty funny, i highly recommend them
A dog becoming a duke? Inconceivable!
You brought back some awful memories when you named The Beverly Hillbillies movie. I remember seeing that awful movie on VHS so many years ago and it was quite the painful experience.
My grandfather stormed the beach at Normandy with James Doohan.
So did he look your grandfather in the eye and said "I'm gonna give ya all I've got , Captain"?
Ba dum tish.
haha the Willard looking guy is my relative, Frank C Turner, he was in Unforgiven as well as Stargate and other Vancouver based TV shows...
I love how in every thumbnail of these Brad has the same shit-eating grin
Allison, the opening segment to this (the silhouette dancing, movement of the word 'Movie Nights' across the screen, the colour choice, the music) is fucking brilliant. "So 80s/early-90s it hurts" category, I LOVE that shit. Really nice work, whoever was responsible for that.
The title of this movie gave me Salo flashbacks.
If I am going to watch a movie with the word "Duke" in it, it had BETTER be "Slaver Brian: Duke of the South."
Seriously though, great review guys. You have a great dynamic that keeps the humour and energy flowing the whole way through.
The review wouldn't be complete without Tequila and Bonetti being referenced.
Kinda reminds me of Mousehunt for some reason.
This isn't me.
You mean the Duck
Lupa si getting better and better
I didn't notice this on Allison's videos before but was that reverb/echo always there?
Fun fact: the duchess is played by Courtnee Draper. You might know her as the voice actress of Elizabeth in Bioshock: Infinite
Ehhhh, I don't really watch Allison Priger videos. I don't entirely blame her for the Spoony Incident, he was a raging a-hole on Twitter and a liability to everyone involved with him, but after seeing her behavior at the end of her term on Channel Awesome ... It's difficult to find her a likeable personality.
This was a lot of fun to watch. Brad I hope you do more Movie nights with Allison and Phelous in the future.
On the note of the Duke (John Neville) dying....
"And that was only one of the many occasions on which I met my death, an experience I don't hesitate strongly to recommend.
Everyone, who had a talent for it, lived happily ever after"
I like this Lupa chick. She seems like the perfect girl to hang out with instead of the standard blonde eye candy golddigging broad.
