Less than 4 minutes in, and this is awesome. Of course it's also not something I should be watching at work, but oh well.

I can't believe this movie didn't do very well, this movie is one of Brad's best.

I'm kind of worried about how much I love this movie. It's just a really interesting mix of creepy, shocking, weird, and funny. And the performances are quite good too – especially Dave as Max Force, who I'm pretty sure is my new favourite character in anything ever. Honestly, Brad was right when he said that Dave was a genius in this; his acting here is the best I've ever seen in an amateur production. He's an absolutely perfect mixture of vain, greedy, cruel, and sleazy, yet so charismatic that despite how terrible a human being he is I still find myself rooting for him (and kind of really wanting to fuck him).

I love how the soundtrack both compliments and contrasts the film entirely. Like, if I were to listen to "Yes I'm Ready" and comment saying that "Cheap brought me here," someone may ask what I'm talking about. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to say, "Oh, it's this great little film. Think Boogie Night but where Jack Horner has a pregnant wife who later has her unborn baby cut out of her stomach by a snuff film crew. But it has a really good doo wop soundtrack!"

This was an enjoyable and very inspiring watch!

There's a lot of feeling for the work put in here, and as someone who also makes movies in similar conditions it was very enjoyable to see what you guys acieved.

A lot of the preformances really shined, and especially the dialogue was very very good in a lot of places. The last segments visuals had some really nice mood to it as well... cute touch with the Dead End Street t-shirt there, recogniced the refferences early on. I'm very glad I checked this one out, it deserves a bigger audience!

This movie totally grabbed my attention. It was like observing an ancient artifact in a museum. Every moment there's a quirky detail to be found, whether it's the actors trying too hard and actually delivering well, the music being surprisingly effective, or the cheesy camera panning. Loads of fun!

And the Max character. Seriously, there were moments I was laughing out loud with this guy and turning my head in disgust at the same time. Very few characters ever make me feel like that

Hey, Brad I love this film and the grainy shot-on-video look you achieved with it. I am an aspiring movie maker, and I want to achieve a similar look. What camera did you shoot this with?

I'll say this:

Brad is a great screenwriter, and Nick is inherently creepy.

Also, Dave is a pretty good actor.

Great movie.

I would recommend that Brad remaster these films. Sure, the shot-on-shitteo look of all of his early works are awesome and perfectly fit the style of what he is trying to make but they do look kind of awful and borderline unwatchable on bigger desktop or laptop screens.

This...this is one of the most powerful, depraved morally destructive things i have ever had the great pleasure of viewing....such mastery of art and evil...true harshness and violence....magnificence.

This is just one of the films on this site I have enjoyed thoroughly. The story is gripping not just because of the main plot, but because of the characters and their motivations as well.

I also liked the appearance of "Caligula."

Man, this was pretty damn bad. It's like you don't even know the basics of filmmaking. If you don't even know how to handle a camera, and turn off auto-fucking-focus.. I mean, that's fucking criminal. You could go to jail for that shit, man.

There's a big difference between bad movies, and unwatchable dreck. The people who say they like this crap must have a huge tolerance level for shit. They must think that directors like Uwe Boll and Ulli Lommel are amazing, as well.

Yeah, Al, Uwe Boll is actually a pretty good director. Quit bitching about how he raped your favorite video game franchise and go watch "Assault On Wall Street", then go pound some sand.

"Pull a little string, give a little tug, I'm your puppet" Being a small child in the early 1970's, the only version I'd heard of that song was from my older sister's Donny Osmond records (she was about 8 at the time). Hearing the original version made me A) Flashback to when I was about 5 and think "Oh WOW! It's THAT song!" and B) "Oh, so THAT'S what the original sounded like!" Far out.

I not sure if you have already reviewed this movie. Let me first say that I love movies but when I saw Gym Kata I walked out. Of the 4372 movies I have watched this was the only movie that I have walked out.
