I haven't even watched this yet, but I'm hoping Brad's reaction is like Joey's. "What's not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!"

I really should watch Friends.
Happy Birthday Brad!
Dagnabbit Brad! ....birthdays are for celebrating surviving another year.....not trying to shorten the next! :D
Happy Birthday, Brad!
It's interesting to note that on this day in 1981, Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" was #1 on the music charts. But more importantly, Sharky's Machine was the #1 movie in America on that day as well. I'm sure there's a future Cinema Snob episode on that in the works.
Another fine episode of " Brad tries to kill himself".
I don't know if you bother reading these comments, but you really remind me of someone and for the longest time I couldn't put my finger on it.
Then all of a sudden it hit me. Please take a look at Manet's Un Bar aux Folies-Bergère and see if you see the same striking resemblance I do.
Holy shit, he's right. That's why her beauty is so strangely stunning: it's classical. It's beauty by the standards of the real, great artists, not Hollywood directors and magazine editors.
Hm, so Brad was born on the 20th of December. That's interesting.
I've been doing a lot of heavy research into the more esoteric aspects of this website lately, and during my digging I discovered someone else who was born on the 20th of December, exactly 150 years ago: General Erich Friedrich Wilhelm Ludendorff.
That's right; Ludendorff. Effective co-dictator of the German Empire during WWI, radical-nationalist arch-conservative, participant in Hitler's 'Beer Hall Putsch' attempt against the Bavarian state government, early member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, Reichstag representative for the anti-semitic German Völkisch Freedom Party, and proponent of a radical religious philosophy which rejected 'Judaic' Christianity in favour of pantheistic blood-and-soil-based nature-worship.
Coincidence??? Highly unlikely. It's interesting how with each little detail of his private life that Brad unthinkingly reveals to the world, the more evidence he gives us to draw the RIGHT conclusions about the sordid undercurrents of his existence. A fisherman always spots another fisherman from afar. Keep making your little videos, Brad. Just know that I'M fully aware of what really lies behind that Caligula 'poster' you love to mockingly film your Snob videos in front of. We can't all be fooled so easily..
Oh, and happy birthday btw! And Merry Christmas too, for that matter! Hope all of Team Snob have a great one! :D
Too bad time-zones mean it wasn't really the same day.
Plus, you know, the fact that it was posted on patreon on the 15th, so was the night of the 14th at the latest.
This is very fascinating because Sarah was the wife and half-sister of Abraham in the bible. It is Hebrew for "lady" or "noblewoman". The irony is stunning. I can't help but wonder if this is intentional on the part of the operators of this site. Maybe all the characters we know here have been given fake names? Also, "Sarah" by Jefferson Starship is one of my favorite of their songs. Some people would cite the theme from "Mannequin" as their favorite, but it would only be #2 for me.
It's also the name of the most popular Doctor Who companion of all time.
The Thanksgiving episodes of "Friends" were always the best, it was one of the few series to do it as most others would gloss over Thanksgiving and go to Christmas (since both holidays are so close to another on a TV schedule and are similar in getting large groups of people together for a meal, Christmas just adds the dynamic of gift exchanges which can add a layer of humor.)
Anyway, the Thanksgiving episodes were always the best of the series with the possible exception of the last one or two of them. I think the one with the "Trifle" is the best with the one with Brad Pitt coming up second. IIRC this is one where a lot of stuff gets revealed in the final moments with Ross/Monica's parents who at this point don't like Chandler dating Monica.
Anyway, Kudos to Sarah for recreating -as best as she could- Rachel's Trifle, and it's hilarious to me that it actually turned out to not be too bad with the opinions on it flipped from the characters in the episode.
Oh! Additionally.... The DVDs of the series occasionally have some extra material in some of the episodes. In a couple of occasions these seem to be jokes or material that was either improvised on set or couldn't be broadcast due to its material. In some cases likely for time to fit for a 1990s 30-minute time slot.
In this episode Ross explains that Rachel messed up the Trifle because two of the pages in her cookbook had gotten stuck together and as soon as he points this out Joey snaps in a accusing/punishing tone, "Chandler!" towards his direction.
It looks like Mexican five-layer dip.
Yummy, I really want to try this now.
You could develope this into "Brad Tries Strange Foods from Around the World".
Next episode is trying the Swedish hotdog.
It's a plain hotdog in a bun, but with mashed potatoes and shrimpsalad on top.
Who's the homie in the Seattle football jersey? I re-watched all the movies Brad's posted on the site after giving myself Paranoia and The Cinema Snob Movie on DVD over Black Friday and I gotta say, I can't recall if I've seen him in anything before.
Now you should do the Eriksen Family's Secret Seven Layer Salad. Made with bacon bits, shredded chesse, cabbage, Funyans, gummy bears, potato chips, and sixteen cups of mayonnaise.
I've always thought this should be eaten in layers. First you get some whipped cream to really prime the pallette for tge savoriness of the potatoes peas and meat, then dessert followed by a stiff drink.
Whether strange, gimmicky, foreign, or decades old... Brad tries it!
