We're coming very close to the release of the movie, but we still have a few pick up shots to do. That, and we also have some weather to deal with.
First up, a quick SITE UPDATE. We've wrapped principle photography on "The Cinema Snob Movie," with only a few quick pick up shots remaining (which I'll still give you a vlog on). For the next couple months the movie will be in Post Production, with a DVD release date of early August at the latest. We've got Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville coming up at the end of June, where we'll be selling pre-orders of the movie (exclusive to just the convention), and then we'll be at Wizard World Chicago selling DVD's of the film. Of course, we'll have trailer up too before the release. With that said, the regular site schedule should return this week. I've got a new Cinema Snob episode written, and that episode will be posted later on in the week, so Cinema Snob episodes will now return to being a weekly series. Plus we've got all the midnight screenings this summer, I'll be getting a new "80's Dan" written, as well as scripts some of the other series and some new stuff. It feels good to be back to my regular filming and writing schedule. Thanks for being patient with us during the two month movie shoot, and I guarantee the finished product will be worth it. We're all extremely excited about the film, and we hope everyone, including both fans and people who have never heard of us, enjoys the movie every bit as much as we enjoyed making it. In the meantime, here is the most recent vlog on the movie, which was our last day filming with the glorious beard. Filming in downtown Springfield, despite trains and a lady who may or may not be a little crazy. Hanging out and chatting about Tarantino, Joss Whedon, condoms, etc, while we shoot some more scenes. After being in Chicago, it's back to working on the movie. Hope the neighbors weren't spying on us this time! More filming on the movie. This time with weapons! Zachary La Voy's shoots his own vlog while in town for the Snob movie. It's way early in the morning and we're filming in a convention hall. We shoot some house scenes and some outside scenes where we wait for a storm to pass over. |
