Mr. T teaches kids how to be someone in life, provided that someone is Mr. T.

Between this and the comics reviewed by Linkara, Mr. T is still cool no matter what crap he's in!

"For all the latest medical poop,
consult the Dr. C. Everett Koop.
Koop-koop-a-doop."

"This is worse than your song about Mr. T!"
"I pity the fool who doesn't like.....he."

LOL!!

"Sucking poison out the ass?" I bet you don't look on this so fondly after Caddyshack 2.

Three of the kids who starred in that Mr. T’s “Be Somebody or Be Somebody’s Fool” video from 1984 were Marta Marrero aka Martika,
Jerry Sharell, and Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie Duhamel who also used to star in the TV show from the 1980s entitled “Kids Incorporated.” Martika played Gloria who was on the show for the first three seasons, Jerry Sharell who played Mickey was only on the show for the first season, and Stacy Ferguson was on the show for six seasons.

The girl who talked about shyness is also Janice Kawaye, who would proceed to have quite the storied career as a voice over artist. Popular roles include Gi from Captain Planet, Ami in Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, and Jenny in My Life as a Teenage Robot.

T was just inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. He had been in the first two Wrestlemanias back in '85 and '86, but was never actually under contract with the company as a wrestler. And he loves his mother, he let everybody know that in no uncertain terms. His HOF speech went on so long that one of the wrestlers (not in character) came out and said that he had to wrap it up. That's how much love the man has for his mother, and all mothers. I get what he's saying, but it was extremely annoying and boring to sit through. And he still pities fools, too. Whoda thunk it?

I pity the fool who doesn't make a "pity the fool" reference in a comment on this video!

Weird, between this and the Gary Coleman video we have two eighties kids productions giving outdated (even at the time) and potentially fatal recommendations on how to deal with a snake bite. Why the hell is that a commonality between them? Too bad the "Rap" section left out the strange part where one of the girls breaks out with some quasi-ballet dance moves to the music.

Your site is quite enlightening, so thank you. I was genuinely shocked after reading this. Due to that blog's usefulness, I generally decide to read more about these topics.

Mr. T shows kids how to succeed in life, as long as they aspire to be Mr. T themselves. It's a unique blend of inspiration and self-imitation, echoing the catchy groove of Friday Night Funkin
