It looks like re-animator fluid or detergent or something.
it so does
Ah, dnL, I remember that stuff.
The gimmick of the taste was a few things: more lime than lemon (compared to 7-Up's more lemon than lime), and it was caffeinated, unlike 7-Up.
And the ad campaign had a small person for some reason.
Main thing I remember via dnL though is one time in a class of some type or work I was bored, I started drawing the old Cool Spot mascot for 7-Up, and because of dnL, I drew a dnL Spot that had its face upside-down and wore regular glasses instead of sunglasses.
This stuff was my poison in high school and managed to replace the regular Mountain Dew flavour for me. I was hoping it would be flatter and not as interesting to me to try and find some DnL online to buy...
[Pushing Lloyd outta da way] Well....It's about time I get a little screen time!
No, you shut up! Lloyd forever!
...Just kidding, I can't tell them apart.
As usual, the SJW and feminazis have to insert a female into everything men like. Lloyd was getting popular so to appease the female PC establishment, the character of Chloe is created to stick it to the male rights movement. It's about ethics in junk food reviewing, guys. Swallow the red pill with some dnL.
I do remember drinking only Vanilla Coke during the early 2000s most likely because most people were drinking it anyway.
Also, I don't mind sour candy! My favorites are Sour Patch Kids and Sour Skittles!
Awww.... It's Brad with his two best ladies!
Nice to see shy Chloe get a little camera lovin' :)
I love it when Lloyd and Chloe appear. Oh, and the soda was weird.
Speaking of discontinued soda- Anyone else remember Pepsi Jazz from the 2006-2007 time period? There were several variations including strawberries and cream, and the caramel variation which was my favorite.
If anything, the flavors were almost too strong and overpowering although personally I loved these and was sad to see them go. The strong flavor was particularly useful since I was a college student on a budget and needed something strong enough to cover up the flavor of the $3 vodka pints and other rot gut liquor I was mixing it with. These might make for an interesting Brad Tries, and the prices for it online aren't too crazy.
Wow that is a shocking green.
You should drink it in front of a green screen and film it.
dnL was to me what Crystal Pepsi was to you. I have seriously considered buying old cans of it off of eBay, and have refrained mainly because I fear the disappointment of too-high expectations.
Let us know if you find an off-brand/Not-See Cola equivalent of it.
what was it that they poured the soda out of and just sent you the can?
That looks like Slimer's piss
Yeah right Brad, you couldn't feel your mouth because of oral... surgery.
The caffeine content of this stuff was off the charts! I remember drinking just 2 bottles and being up for almost 48 hours. Personally, I loved the taste, reminded me a lot of OK Soda.
Yay for Chloe! I love it when you have the cats in the vids!
Also, did no one else notice Violet's hand?
Congrats guys! I'm so happy for you! You seem really great together and everyone deserves a great partner!
I was wondering about that as well. Has Brad made any type of official announcement?
Nothing official, but I rather suspect this video was his way of doing that.
Violet commented on the YouTube version of this video that it's just a ring she likes to wear. They're not engaged...yet :)
Well... sometimes a ring IS just a ring.... and a can of Billy Beer is just a needed tetanus shot. :)
God, I miss dnL.
Oh man, I remember this stuff. My uncle and I used to drink it and eat wings every Thursday during the weekly Star Trek TNG marathon.
Now you are on key again. Good old American nostalgia. Interesting. No one cares to watch you critique fast food, haha.
Whether strange, gimmicky, foreign, or decades old... Brad tries it!
