Site Update
Hey everyone! Thought I would provide a little update here for ya. Sorry I haven't had as many videos on the site this week. I've got a few things shot that I just need to finish editing, then I'll have a slew of new material posted. I got that new camera, so I've been learning all the ins and outs of that. Right away you'll notice the better picture out sound quality. Basically what I'm saying is that you'll be able to tell that I'm using a completely different camera =)
Also I've got new editing software, so I've been teaching myself how to use that. Isn't too terribly hard since it's just the current version of the software I've always used. I tried moving over to Adobe Premiere Pro, but fucking hated it. How anyone could use that software I have no idea. Holy shit, trying to work that software was like trying to figure out a rubix cube where every single square is not only a different color, but provides an electric shock every time you touch it. It's not a good sign when you have to look at the editor's manual in order to figure out how to make cut. Fuck that. The software I have now is much better.
Anyways, Jerrid and I have recorded a new episode of Radiodrome, I've got a new Big Box written, and right now I'm working on editing my first scripted video review as myself. So keep an eye on the site! Plenty of stuff coming!

Oh crap a new Radiodrome Episode. Ohhhhh can't wait and also congratulations again with the new camera and it really sucks about the new software. I remember that happening to me too, which blows my mind how they can sometimes make an interface for an program not user friendly. It's like they don't like money.
Be glad you didn't have hardware problems from Windows 7 like I did that I almost got me to revert back to Windows XP. Glad I didn't.

I guess I was lucky that I actually LEARNED on Adobe Premiere many years ago. Premiere 6.5, I think it was.
And I look forward to the new Radiodrome. I imagine you guys would have a lot to talk about.

Kind of reminds me when I try to anything nonbasic in Photoshop. I used, like, 5.0 a very long time ago and found a copy of 7.0. The amount of crap they managed to put in it and the way they made it entirely noob unfriendly really shocked me.
And you can't do review as yourself or else I have to refer to you by your real name. It just doesn't roll off the tongue the same.

That sounds great

Sounds good Brad. I'm very much looking forward to some upcoming vids. Don't knock yourself though, you are more prolific in your video output than a lot of the other web series that I watch

cool. Only thing i have to say is I liked the bad quality before. It mimiced the quality of the videos the snob was reviewing and was part of the charm for me. I guess thats a nit pick but what can I say thats a big draw for me =P
Anyway, still cool to hear. Still cant wait for the new vids. No rush, your one site maintainer I come to everyday and generally find something new so its ok if you have some times when you dont. I think you work harder then alot of sites so its cool =)

Thanks for the update, honestly can't wait! Personally, I've always liked your reviews of recent movies as yourself talking in front of the camera and I've always thought it'd be nice if you had those categorized like you do with your actual episodes. Just my opinion.

Hey Brad. Congrats on the new camera. I love almost all Adobe products.... but you are right, Premiere is the worst video editing software. I'm a designer and fairly computer savvy, but Premier is just clunky, cumbersome, and difficult to learn. The best video editing software that I've found for PC is easily Sony Vegas! Its very user friendly, and it is totally a professional program with all the bells and whistles. But these bells and whistles don't require a masters degree to use. I don't know if you read these, but please download the trial and give it a shot. Its really intuitive. Can't wait to see the new vids! Keep up the great work!

Hello! Love your work Brad! You've quickly become a favorite of mine ever since I saw your reviews on the Spoony Experiment. I'll keep an eye out for your stuff, and good luck on all your new equipment!

Your camera and editing software are the least of your concerns.
Get yourself a decent lighting rig and a gaffer who knows how to use it and your films will look professional.

Definitely. And you should even get a $4 million dollar budget from a major studio, that way you will have an entire crew, ie best boys, cinematographers, script girls, production assistants, make up artists, computer effects professionals, the works! Maybe you could even get Spielberg to direct your videos. Then they will look super!

Or just ONE friend who knows what they're doing.

Totally, I agree. And as long as we keep leaving rude comments, he's bound to do what we say!

Good job on the new camera! I'm excited for the new Radiodrome. There hasn't been a new episode in so long I thought it had bit the dust. Infact, I thought that the Bruno Mattei Show was a replacement. Good thing though because Radiodrome and Revolving Video (which I found through this site) are two of my favorite podcasts.

I'm feeling kinda sad because of the new camera. I kinda like that you have this bad..ish quality. It's not too bad, and it's just.. awesome. Yeah, I know. Bad quality is awesome (the hell am I thinking).
What editing software are you using now?

i agree, the bad video quality and the background noise of the camera had a lot of charme to me and it fits well with shitty exploitation.

Houses are not very cheap and not everybody is able to buy it. Nevertheless, loan was invented to help people in such kind of situations.

Thanks for the site update Brad. Can't wait to see more of your new videos. Any updates you can give on the releases of Game Boys or Midnight Heat? See, I've been playing Heavy Rain all week and now that it's finished I really need more dark detective noir!
